The Ducati Monster was originally launched in the 1990's. Since
then it has been building a steady reputation amongst those
that like a real bike. The bikes are supplied without fairings
and with a very basic look. But there are a huge number of accessories
that you can add to your bike, all supplied by Ducati of course.
But this at least keeps the original cost of the bike low. The
Ducati Monster has a cool look with a great engine and handling
that most Japanese bikes will only ever aspire to. The monster
is becoming so popular that it even has it's own clubs and societies.
The 620 models have the new and very excellent power torque
clutch system that allows a very smooth and easy, servo assisted
transmission shift. The new model also has a moveable join that
means that there is less noise and an even better gear selection.
The 2006 Ducati Monster has had some really great innovations
with improved performance and handling and also has a less aggressive
riding position than other Ducati’s. This makes it a lot more
comfortable to use if you are not track racing, or at least
trying to do a passable imitation of it around your town, (not
that you ever would!). The Ducati Monster is not only a fantastic
and stylish bike, it is also a good practical ride. So if you
want a classic of the future that is great fun to ride now,
then a monster might be a great buy for you.
